The Dunlop® SnugBoot® exists out of six extraordinary parts:
PUROTEX UPPER Not neoprene, but a 4-layer material that is 100% waterproof outside and breathable inside.
SNUG LAST Not a boot-last, but a foot-last developed for perfect fit and comfort.
PUROFORT® SHAFT Not rubber, but Dunlop's proprietary Purofort® compound that is lighter, warmer, and stronger.
STABILITY FIX Glass-fibre reinforced shoehorn, heel counter, and shank for optimal support.
METAL-FREE PROTECTION Protective toecap and midsole for protection against falling and piercing objects.
ALL TERRAIN OUTSOLE SRC rated slip-resistant design for optimal grip on any terrain.
Developed with a unique 4-layer material:
Layer 1 water repellent and wear and tear-resistant outer layer
Layer 2 waterproof and breathable membrane
Layer 3 moisture wicking lightweight foam
Layer 4 antimicrobial abrasion-resistant lining
Inspired by the foot, the Dunlop® SnugBoot® follows the natural curves of the leg and foot to provide superior comfort. In addition, the Stability Fix locks in the foot to provide maximal support and prevent heel slip.
Your boots should give you ultimate protection. This is impacted a lot by the performance of your outsoles. As slipping and tripping occurs mostly during walking when landing on your heel and taking off from your toes, Dunlop pay special attention to these areas.
That's why they design outsoles that exceed your requirements on slip resistance and grip. Dunlop outsoles are additionally dirt repellent and wear resistant, assuring a long life time of your boots.
The SB-S5 levels above meet the EN ISO 20345:2011 standard, and S6 and S7 meet the EN ISO 20345:2022 standard.
