Fire Retardant

Fire retardant refers to materials or products that are designed to resist burning or reduce the spread of fire. Fire retardant materials are commonly used in building construction, textiles, and other applications where there is a risk of fire.  In personal protection, fire retardant clothing is often worn by workers in industries such as welding, firefighting, and electrical work. These clothing items are designed to protect the wearer from burns and injuries in the event of a fire or electrical arc.
