Whilst we would always recommend every customer to make their own checks as to the most suitable mask, a Standard 3-ply Disposable Mask gives users very basic protection against the inhalation of small particles although are not normally tested to any standard. They are mainly used once and should ideally fit closely over the nose, mouth, and chin of the wearer to have any advantage.
Medical 3-ply Disposable Masks are used in certain circumstances by healthcare workers as a minimum protection and have the added advantage of stopping some liquid penetration. Again, they should only be used once and require close fitting to be more effective.
