Eye Protection

Safety eye protection refers to various types of eyewear that provide protection to the eyes against hazardous substances, particles, or radiation. This type of personal protective equipment (PPE) is used in a variety of industries, including construction, manufacturing, and healthcare, to prevent eye injuries and maintain good eye health.

Safety eye protection comes in different forms, including safety glasses, goggles, face shields, and welding helmets. Safety glasses and goggles are designed to protect against flying debris, chemicals, and radiation. Face shields offer additional protection to the face and neck, while welding helmets protect against the bright light and heat of welding.

It is important to select the appropriate type of safety eye protection for the specific task or environment. Proper fit and comfort are also important considerations when selecting eye protection to ensure that workers wear them consistently and correctly.
